The AWS Infrastructure Performance Partner Management (IPM) team performs a vendor management function for Colocation (colo) Data Center vendors with which AWS has deployments. The team manages AWS colo vendor performance through internal feedback mechanisms as well as a formal business review program where vendors are measured on operational performance contractual compliance and infrastructure reliability. This is a key business management function that is required to satisfy AWS System and Organization Controls (SOC) compliance. IPM is responsible for commercial transactions including MTSAs amendments and addition IPM serves as an escalation point for both our internal and external partners manage contractual service level violations and infrastructure risk reduction projects. Finally the IPM team serves as a subject matter expert that works cross-organizational with other teams in AWS to deliver service level improvements and scaling initiatives by leveraging the commercial and contractual relationships with AWS colocation vendors. Through these activities the function supports and empowers Operations Security Engineering and other key stakeholders both internal and external to drive continuous improvements in order to deliver a better and more reliable AWS customer experience.

. Support the need for reporting from our business support systems

5 years of End to End Contract Management 5 year of Vendor Performance Management Bachelors Degree in engineering business or related discipline 5 years work experience in Data Center supply chain management.

Masters Degree in engineering business (MBA) or related discipline 5 years contract negotiations 10 Years vendor management. 10 years of Colocation Vendor management. 5 years of project management in high volume business environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
