What youll do at OhioMHAS:
Supervise Health Information and Reimbursement Departments and Staff
Manage collection coding and reporting of billable services as well as non-billable services (through electronic health record)
Ensure hospital reimbursement process is timely and accurate
Oversee Release of Information and HIPAA compliance activities
Ensure and monitor compliance with NOBH/OMHAS policies and Joint Commission/CMS standards related to healthinformation management
Compile and report information on Health Information/Reimbursement Department performance to PerformanceImprovement Director noting any concerns and making recommendations for improvement
Aid in performance improvement projects/requests related to health information management
Participate in medical records chart audits
Staff education orientation and annual regarding health information
This is anhourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units with a pay range of#12on theE1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule.Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code the selected candidate will begin atStep 1of the pay range schedule listed above with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. business administration management science or public administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. supervisory administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning research &/or policy/procedure development.
-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1 63122.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
