Imaging Service Specialist
Location: Pomona CA
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Imaging Service Specialist to join our team in Pomona CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing imaging equipment including X-ray machines MRI machines and CT scanners. The Imaging Service Specialist will work closely with medical staff to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards. Additionally the specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues performing routine maintenance and coordinating repairs with external vendors when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs
- Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards
- Train medical staff on proper use of imaging equipment
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology or related field
- 5 years of experience in servicing imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of X-ray machines MRI machines and CT scanners
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
