Sous Chef (Progression to Head Chef)
Location: Amersham Buckinghamshire
Salary: Up to 42000 per annum benefits
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to join our award-winning restaurant in Amersham. Holding 2 AA Rosettes and listed in the Michelin Guide we are committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences through creative seasonal cookery.
This is an exciting opportunity not only to take on a key role within the kitchen but also to grow into a future Head Chef position with the support and guidance of the owner.

A chef who is ambitious hungry to progress and ready to stamp their mark on a kitchen.
Strong cooking skills and the confidence to lead by example.
Leadership potential: someone who can inspire motivate and manage a brigade even if theyre still building full management experience.
A collaborative professional approach and the ability to thrive in a close-knit supportive team.
A forward-thinking mindset and creativity with menu input and seasonal dishes.
Ideally experience at Rosette or Michelin level with a desire to push further.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
Supervise train and mentor junior members of the brigade.
Prepare and deliver consistently high-quality dishes across all menus.
Contribute to menu planning and seasonal specials.
Oversee stock management ordering and supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with all food hygiene health and safety regulations.
