Director Fraud Risk Management
About your role:
You will lead fraud risk management for valueadded products across payments and closedloop solutions driving strategy and operational controls to protect revenue and customer experience. The role partners with product engineering and data teams to scale detection response and prevention capabilities for Gift Cards Rapid Deposit and Dynamic Payments.
What youll do:
- Define and execute the fraud risk strategy for valueadded products including closedloop gift cards ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer experience.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to design validate and scale fraud detection models decision engines automation and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to embed fraud mitigation into product roadmaps and client implementations supporting gotomarket and commercialization.
- Lead fraud operations oversight: investigations case management chargeback/return controls refund abuse prevention and fraud P&L governance.
- Drive automation and GenAI initiatives to reduce manual review volumes lower operating expense and improve throughput and accuracy.
- Act as an external subject matter expert with clients and industry partners to advise on fraud posture incident response and best practices.
- Ensure fraud programs meet regulatory compliance and audit requirements (e.g. PCI DSS NACHA OFAC/AML considerations).
- Build mentor and scale a highperforming fraud risk team and establish KPIs SLAs and continuous improvement practices.

Experience youll need to have:
- 13 years of experience in fraud risk management and leadership for payments and digital valueadded products (e.g. gift cards payment rails digital wallets).
- 10 years of experience designing and deploying fraud detection models machine learning pipelines and decisioning engines.
- 10 years of experience in cloud platform architecture and deploying scalable monitoring and streaming/batch pipelines (AWS GCP or Azure).
- 10 years of experience implementing and maintaining compliance and security standards relevant to payments and fraud (PCI DSS NACHA rules OFAC/AML screening).
- 8 years of experience in programming and data tooling for analytics (Python SQL Spark) and BI/reporting tools (Looker Tableau Power BI).
- 8 years of experience with fraud prevention and detection technologies and services (e.g. Actimize Sift Kount ThreatMetrix Ethoca) and chargeback/transaction monitoring systems.
- 8 years of equivalent combination of educational background related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Prior handson experience integrating GenAI or automation platforms into fraud workflows (e.g. automation of case triage or decision support).
- Experience presenting fraud metrics and risk tradeoffs to executive leadership and external clients including preparing boardlevel risk summaries.
- Previous work embedding fraud controls into product development lifecycles and commercial deployments for enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with payments network dispute processes (Visa / Mastercard / ACH) and chargeback recovery strategies.
How youll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- You will work an assigned schedule of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Salary Range
$146000.00 - $244800.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
