About The Role

The Head Start ERSEA Coordinator coordinates enrollment recruitment selection eligibility and attendance related services for the Agency Grantee as well as its partnerships. The Head Start ERSEA Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and tracking ERSEA services and other content areas in the head start program when needed. The ERSEA Coordinator supports the Director of Head Start Services in ensuring that Head Start Performance Standards are being met.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Coordinates all Head Start related comprehensive services in the area of ERSEA to ensure that Head Start Program Mandates are being met.
  • Oversees and designs monitoring tracking and compliance of all contracts ERSEA files and data.
  • In collaboration with the Director of HS develops and designs ERSEA strategic day for the HS and Enrollment department.
  • Supports Director of Head Start with Enrollment Recruitment Selection Eligibility Attendance (ERSEA) and assures maintenance of organized files on each enrolled child.
  • Works closely with Kidangos Enrollment & Compliance Manager to develop and implement Enrollment Standards of Practice for Head Start FENS.
  • Supports delegation of ERSEA responsibilities within HS department Administration.
  • Works closely with the Director of HS and Operations Manager Head Start Manager to ensure data collection of ERSEA is up to date.
  • Responsible for data entry into ChildPlus for all Head Start Content Areas within all HS Contracts.
  • Participates supports and assists in handling all head start special projects.
  • Supports Head Start billing and collection of enrolled Early Head Start/Head Start sign in and out sheets and ensures all children enrolled in Early Head Start/Head Start Programs have supporting documentation.
  • Maintains effective and appropriate communication with the Head Start Department and all Early Head Start/Head Start Centers.
  • Attends all staff training and supports classroom staff with relative head start mandates.
  • Supports the planning and implementation of the Annual Self-Assessment.
  • Participates in agency and partner agencies self assessments.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications

  • (AA) degree minimum requirement and Head Start experience
  • Experience in Head Start eligibility or related experience is desired.
  • Knowledge about Head Start/ Early Head Start mandates.
  • Skilled at social-emotional relationships with staff families children and the community.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Able to operate all computers and software used by the agency including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in data and data-based computer programs.
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate and Infectious Disease Prevention training or completion within three months of hire. (As required by Licensing).
  • Able to be flexible in work schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation
$90221.04$90221.04 USD

  • Must pass a health screening and TB test
  • Must pass background fingerprint clearance
  • Valid Driver License
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
