Job Description

is seeking a Senior Principal Research Scientist to lead a to lead the Centre for Quantum Sensing Technology (CQST). The successful candidate will drive innovative research projects mentor junior researchers and contribute to advancing strategic research goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define strategic R&D priorities and collaborate with TL researchers to shape and guide research directions.

  • Manage the research units financial and resource planning to sustain long-term expertise and operational excellence.

  • Provide oversight and guidance on the transition of research outcomes

  • Lead technically and support the development of Research Directors Programme Managers and group members through mentorship.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Physics Computer Science Engineering or Quantum related area with 20 years experience in the field.

  • Experienced in managing a technical department or research center.

  • Strong analytical transdisciplinary and systems thinking as well as influencing skills. Insightful visionary and agile.

  • Innovative and proactive in identifying research opportunities.
