Your Opportunity

Camperdown Support Services and AOD Hub provides wraparound support services to Common Ground residents. CSS critically provides tenants including 52 people exiting long-term primary homelessness with individual case management and coordination of onsite health recreational social and welfare services.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide expert leadership high-quality care and strategic service delivery within our programs.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant you will be at the forefront of delivering and coordinating integrated client-centred care. Your role will combine direct clinical practice with leadership and program oversight ensuring services meet the highest standards of safety effectiveness and compassion.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments care planning risk screening and case management.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams fostering professional growth accountability and a client-focused culture.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing interventions to clients with complex health and social needs.
  • Advocate for residents during hospital admissions discharges and emergency transfers ensuring continuity of care.
  • Mentor supervise and develop clinical and support staff fostering a culture of professional growth and resilience.
  • Lead clinical governance activities developing evidence-based models of care pathways and procedures.
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals AOD specialists and community services to optimise client outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through quality initiatives data analysis and innovation in care delivery

Requirements for Success

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Aged Care and/or Mental Health and AOD
  • Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours and support individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • A collaborative client-focused approach and commitment to Mission Australias values.

Before starting work with us you will need to undertake a national police history check referee checks drivers licence AHPRA and work right checks.
