About Us
We are seeking to recruit an individual to work within Middlesbrough Councils Social Care Catering team for Adults with Profound Learning Disabilities and Complex needs.
Applicants should be motivated flexible enthusiastic and able to use their own initiative.
The role will incorporate:
Support the cook and all operational aspects of the catering needs within the Orchard Day service.
Maintain all elements of food hygiene and cleanliness in and around the kitchen.
Assist the cook in the preparation of foods and beverages.
Operate and clean catering equipment utensils and machinery in accordance with safety instructions.
Undertake the washing up of crockery cutlery and utensils and cleaning of kitchen and service areas.
Assist in the service and disposal of food including the transporting of meals to tables.
Working flexibly to support the needs of the service.
Please note this is a part time vacancy working 10 hours a week.
