Description
The Local People Partner is responsible for the local people partnering activity partnering with business leaders to foster a positive work environment enhance employee engagement and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and programs which includes delivering HR related matters from a regional and geographic perspective. You will be hands-on and flex from strategic to tactical work while providing support for managers and employees.
Responsibilities
Proactively and thoughtfully address workplace and employee relation issues on an individual and systematic basis. This includes but is not limited to disciplinary grievance etc.
Provide coaching to local managers to understand team dynamics and equip them to deal with conflict resolution change management and performance management.
Understand the local job market and regional employment trends.
Collaborate with other Local People Partners to develop document and implement new processes events and initiatives that falls under the Local Partnering scope.
Align and collaborate with Global People Partner Leads to understand business strategy and make people related decisions which are in line with Elekta business strategy and priorities.
Provide labor law intelligence in accordance with the regional supporting area.
Manage the local Health & Safety elements.
Manage and execute local wellbeing initiatives.
Managing the HR Compliance of the geographic area
Execute and communicate the local HR policies and procedures that are in line with Elekta policies processes and practices as well as specific to HR such as C&B etc.
Provide intel on Government and Tax for the geographic area working collaboratively with payroll and finance.
Attend and prepare information for the Internal and external HR Audits
Drive the Global mobility execution
Required to build a trustful cooperation with the workers council
Authorities
Regional remit to represent Local Partnering in these activities always in line with Elektas Code of Conduct Values Policies and ethical standards.
Signatory rights according to local signatory rights matrix.
Relevant Knowledge skills and competencies
University degree in Human Resources Business administration Economics or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably from a generalist role gained in a dynamic matrix and change oriented global organization with process complexity.
Ability to work cross-functionally collaborate and influence multiple stakeholder groups at all levels.
Experience of working with labor law intelligence compliance and policies government and taxing processes
Experience of preparing and undergoing internal and external HR audits
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Japanese.
Strategic and analytical mindset
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands
