Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack & Data Engineer with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable secure and high performance applications and data pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in both software engineering and data engineering with a strong understanding of healthcare and life sciences ideally with prior experience at Johnson & Johnson.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Engineering
Design develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks React Angular Django).
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Ensure high performance responsiveness and security of applications.
Collaborate with UI UX designers product managers and QA teams to deliver high quality software.
Data EngineeringDesign and implement robust ETL ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow Spark or dbt.
Work with large scale structured and unstructured data from clinical operational and commercial sources.
Optimize data storage and retrieval using cloud native data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift).
Ensure data quality lineage and governance in compliance with HIPAA and GxP standards.
Johnson & Johnson Specific Experience
Should have relevant experience with J&J CDL and Big Data Strategy
Experience working within J&J technology ecosystem including platforms like MedTech Janssen R&D.
Familiarity with J&J data privacy compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Good Knowledge with J&J Xena framework.
Proven ability to navigate cross-functional teams and matrixed environments typical of J&J.
Required Qualifications 10 years of experience in software engineering and data engineering roles.
Proficiency in Python JavaScript TypeScript SQL and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Experience with CI CD pipelines containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of data modeling warehousing and analytics.
Prior experience in healthcare life sciences or regulated industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior employment or consulting experience with Johnson & Johnson.
Experience with tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker for data visualization.
Knowledge of FHIR HL7 or other healthcare interoperability standards.
Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field.
