Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Dormakaba is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lexington this role youll design and improve electrical systems products and processes. Youll work on new and existing technology finding ways to make production more efficient and effective. Using your expertise in engineering and applied science youll help develop innovative solutions that support our goals.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $95000 - $115000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Negotiate interface decisions which affect and require integration of own work into the related project
- Document work and assure timely communications to all affected areas schedules and cost objectives while alerting management to any difficulties
- Design develop and test micro-controller based designs
- Perform schematic layouts and circuit analysis
- Coordinate and manage regulatory conformance FCC UL and others
- Provide and is accountable for moderately complex technical direction often as a technical team leader to a small group of professional/technical personnel to complete an engineering/scientific project
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Advanced knowledge of electronic principles and concepts and electronic manufacturing aspects
- Expertise in Quality Function Deployment Design for Manufacturing Dependent Failure Analysis Failure mode and effects analysis Discrete fourier transform and Root Cause Analysis methods
- Advanced knowledge of design for six sigma
