Key responsibilities
- Responding to phone calls and translation request emails (internal and external)
- Liaising with customers as to their individual requirements
- Processing in and initiating the translation workflow
- Processing out translations by email post and courier
- Liaising with external translators regarding individual translation assignments
- Assist with monitoring and managing allocation of work across the team and external translators
To be successful in this role you must be
- Committed to providing outstanding customer service
- Enjoy working with customers and translators over the phone and by email
- Able to work efficiently under time pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail
- An effective communicator between customers colleagues and external translators
- Confident and efficient in the use of IT and all MS office programs
- Flexible and innovative in your approach to work
- Interested and confident in working across languages and cultures
