Type: Contract
Schedule: Tuesday Wednesday Friday & Saturday: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 $24 per hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistantfor an exciting job in Hanover MD.

Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients ensuring a positive patient experience
Schedule appointments and manage phone communications
Take patient vitals and perform point-of-care testing
Draw blood and administer vaccines
Conduct EKGs and other basic clinical procedures
Provide additional clinical support as needed
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of medical assistant experience (excluding externship)
Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Occupational health experience preferred
Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Commitment to health education and patient outreach

Required Skills:

Front and back-office clinical experience
Phlebotomy and venipuncture
EKG administration
Point-of-care (POC) testing
Patient scheduling and rooming
Vital signs measurement
BLS or CPR certification
