Religious Education Curriculum Coordinator (2 point) - additional 1 point Youth Ministry Coordinator allowance available for the right candidate(applicable for 6-months)

Permanent Full-time

Commencing Term 1 2026

Salary ranging from $107102 - $153398 (plus additional Youth Ministry Coordinator allowance)

About the Role

The Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Curriculum Coordinator (2 Point) to lead the effective organisation delivery and continuous improvement of the Religious Education curriculum at James Sheahan Catholic High School Orange. This is a key leadership position that supports our schools mission to foster faith learning and academic excellence. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping students spiritual and educational journeys while supporting the professional growth of faculty members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of high-quality Religious Education programs in line with NESA and CEDB guidelines.
  • Promote and model the Catholic ethos mission and values across the school.
  • Foster a collaborative results-driven professional learning culture within the RE faculty.
  • Use data and evidence to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with NESA CEDB and internal reporting and assessment requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage faculty meetings resources budget and performance development.
  • Engage students and the broader school community through RE-related events liturgies and communications.
