Our stunning Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking for a talented Culinary Supervisor to participate and assist in daily culinary operations of the four outlets within the hotel.
Wage: The hourly rate for this role is $25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Schedule: Open and flexibility availability required including days nights weekends and holidays.
What will I be doing
As a Culinary Supervisor you would be responsible for participating in daily culinary operations supervise the team and contribute to the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
- Primary responsability will be banquet breakfast and lunch production
- Prepare fish and meats
- Assist and support kitchen team members
- Set up daily specials and happy hour food
- Visually inspect food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with federal state local and company health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Ensure compliance with federal state local and company food handling and food storage procedures
