Our Procurement Services Office is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking ManagerProcess & Improvement to join our to the Senior Manager Procurement Technology and P2P. This role is responsible for developing and executing Procurement Services practices including internal processes and operational frameworks. The position collaborates with business units to design refine and maintain Procurement Services standardsparticularly those governing interactions between Procurement and its internal clients.
What will I be doing
- Leads and manages the repository for the Continuous Improvement Forum.
- Identifies and recommends areas for improvement related to process efficiencies and technology alignment opportunities. Responsible for monthly reports and reviews with the Senior Manager for triage and bundling opportunities of initiatives and maintains a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to illustrate progress.
- Manages the coordination of Procurement Services Guilds to inform the Continuous Improvement Forum and provides monthly updates to the management team of progress.
- Accountable for maintaining the process improvement plan for Procurement Services identifying alignment with the Source to Pay (S2P) framework.
- Acts as subject matter expert using LEAN methodologies to assist other Procurement departments with streamlining and optimizingprocesses.
- Oversees internal audit requests and works collaboratively with pillars across Procurement Services to ensure well-supported responses and action plans in a consistent tone.
- Protects Procurement Services strategic and accountability interests by employing best practices in governance to critically challenge responses to achieve desired organizational outcomes so that resources can be reassigned to action that better achieve the goals.
- Leads and directs staff (e.g. defines roles responsibilities and expectations); delivers timely feedback to ensure a cohesive operational unit and the optimum use of team skills.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need
- Degree in Business Commerce Public Administration Supply Chain Procurement or a related discipline or a combination of education training and experience deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience /training inprocess improvement and project management experience preferably in public sector or procurement.
- Supply Chain Management and Project Management Professionals designations preferred.
- Leadership ability to coach mentor and manage a team.
- Knowledge of performance analytics to monitor project performance and quality and to collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
