Job Summary
Do you have a maritime background with a technical flair for ships then you might be ready to join our innovative RoRo business area as our Fleet Manager.
On behalf of Stena Rederi A/S MARPRO Group is looking for a Fleet Manager for the office in Hellerup. You will report to the Managing Director of the company.
The job
You will be responsible for a team of Technical and Marine Fleet Superintendents you will be overall responsible for the operation resource allocation and strategic activities related to Stena Rederi A/S RoRo division. Your role includes ensuring that vessels are maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition in full compliance with flag state and international addition you will manage safe and efficient vessel operations within budget and oversee daily technical management and keep a close collaboration with Marine HR as well as commercial project activities.
Professional qualifications
- Marine Engineer Dual Officers Naval architect or relevant maritime background preferably with 5 years of shore-based experience
- Knowledge of project management including technical modifications and flag changes
- Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and safety standards
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience with a broad stakeholder management (owners class clients subcontractors)
- Experience with RoPAX or RoRo vessels is an advantage

- Strong promoter of safety culture and operational excellence
- Structured and proactive in handling multiple responsibilities
- Valid work and residence permit for Denmark
