About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. This role builds on the original ETL Developer Reporting scope now elevated to a strategic architecture position. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in IBM DataStage Power BI and SAP BOBI 4.3 tools along with a proven ability to translate business needs into robust data frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and reporting ecosystems
- Lead ETL development using IBM DataStage ensuring performance and scalability
- Design and deliver advanced dashboards and analytics using Power BI
- Utilize SAP BOBI 4.3 tools (UDT IDT Web Intelligence CMC Promotional Management) for enterprise reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business goals
- Ensure data quality governance and security across platforms
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in IBM DataStage
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX data modeling visualization)
- Deep working knowledge of SAP BOBI 4.3 suite: UDT IDT Web Intelligence CMC Promotional Management
- Advanced SQL and data modeling capabilities
- Experience in designing data warehouses and reporting frameworks
- Familiarity with metadata management and performance tuning
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering ETL development and reporting architecture
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
