The Opportunity:

The Assistant Director Annual Giving plays a critical role in advancing donor engagement retention and acquisition strategies at UCF. This position holds a portfolio of projects and campaigns designed to deepen philanthropic participation strengthen affinity among alumni students parents faculty and staff and drive sustainable annual support. The role requires creativity collaboration and an ability to translate data into actionable engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan execute and evaluate direct marketing campaigns to increase donor retention reactivation and acquisition. Manage timelines deliverables and cross-team collaboration.

  • Maintain accurate constituent data across platforms. Create appeal codes build giving forms and update campaign trackers and project management tools.

  • Respond to donor texts and front-line communications serving as a liaison to Records & Gifts to ensure accurate donor messaging and appeal alignment.

  • Assist in planning coordinating and executing crowdfunding campaigns. Provide guidance to stakeholders ensure consistency with brand standards and measure campaign impact.

  • Support engagement initiatives including young alumni student parent and faculty/staff philanthropy efforts throughout the year.

  • Partner with the Director to prepare campaign recaps analyze results and contribute to strategic planning. Lead assigned special projects that advance divisional goals.

  • Contribute to documentation planning and team-wide collaboration to enhance efficiency and knowledge-sharing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division. The anticipated salary for a well-qualified candidate is $56030 - $68637. The final determination of a successful candidates starting salary will vary based on several factors including education and relevant experience. The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above. All offers are contingent on successful background and reference screens.
