Position Summary
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machines during 3rd shift production. This role includes performing set-ups tooling adjustments quality inspections and maintaining efficient machine operation. The CNC Operator will work closely with the shift supervisor to ensure safe accurate and timely production.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Perform set-ups and tooling changes as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and work orders.
Conduct in-process inspections and measure parts to verify quality standards.
Monitor machine performance troubleshoot issues and make adjustments.
Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
Keep work area clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisor to meet production goals.
Qualifications
2 years CNC machining experience required.
Ability to set up operate and adjust CNC equipment.
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Familiarity with precision tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
Experience in plastics extrusion or related manufacturing preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
Willingness to work 3rd shift on a consistent basis.
