Job Description
Main duties & detailed responsibilities of position:
Support C&W hospitality teams across Europe with ongoing research and advisory working closely with the hospitality EMEA leadership and EMEA research teams based in London. Strengthen existing relationships and expand a robust client network to help position C&W hotel real estate services and research as leaders in the European market. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate European research publications collaborating closely with the hospitality leadership based in London.
- Coordinate European usage and consolidation central resources and third-party tools/ databases in UK for the benefit of hospitality teams across Europe (e.g. CoStar subscription).
- Coordinate market-specific publications across Europe and provide research and advisory support to the various hospitality teams in each market. Provide in-depth analytical support to the UK hospitality team.
- Work in collaboration with the EMEA heads of research for various real estate sectors based in London. Ensure hospitality research is part of pan-European multi-asset class publications.
- Provide support and analytical reporting for the asset management mandates in Europe. Key responsibilities include the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual asset management reports budgets pre-opening reports and recommending optimization strategies for the hotels.
- Provide hotel ESG advisory support to various investors across Europe and liase with sustainability services department leadership based in London.
- Support with the training and management of interns and new joiners in the Research & Advisory department.
- Attend industry events to support the team profile in the market and seek to grow your network of contacts with a focus across Europe.
- Actively update and optimize current in-house processes.
- Provide support and coordinate with various admin tasks.
Qualifications experience and skills required for this position:
- Bachelor graduate from a leading hospitality school with preferably electives/specialization in hotel real estate.
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality real estate consultancy required with preferably operational experience in hotels.
- Have a good understanding of various markets and cultures across EMEA to perform a central coordination and support role for all teams across the region.
- Multilingual professional with working proficiency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Hotel sector knowledge concerning the nature of brands management companies investors and the latest trends affecting the industry on a European level.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills. Ability to work with extensive databases.
