Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Program Manager. The Program Manager position will be based out of the North Houston TX facility.

The role will manage new product introduction (NPI) and product improvement projects (PIP) from the customer RFQ phase to PPAP.

Responsibilities:
Manage new product introduction projects (NPI) and product improvement projects (PIP) from the customer RFQ phase to PPAP.
Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Report on project success criteria results metrics and lessons learned.
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork innovation and excellence.
Participate in establishing practices templates policies and tools for successful project execution.
Prepare estimates where necessary and a detailed project plan for all phases of the project
Manage project scope and changes.
Act as an internal quality control check for the project

Requirement
Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the Automotive Industry or relevant experience
Extensive manufacturing experience in operations serving commercial & passenger vehicles.
Experience with vehicle quality systems and processes (DFMEA DFM DVPR etc.).
Extensive Experience with Customer Contact and specific Customer Requirements
Extensive Experience in NPI PIP Launching projects and Program Management.
Core Tools Control Plan QA Systems 8D Layered Process Audits Lean Tools
Knowledge IATF16949 ISO14001 ISO45001 Experience in SAP PLM Efficient proactive and hands-on approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
