Job Summary

Weve been retained on a search for a CFO with a fast-growing startup in Newton. This is a hands-on role for a motivated finance leader who wants to do more than keep the books youll be building processes from the ground up and partnering closely with the CEO and Board to shape and execute the companys financial strategy.

Develop and execute a strategic financial plan including methods to improve business performance
Develop financial models from scratch to support growth initiatives and business decisions via in-depth analysis.
Provide available and transparent information for management on the business state develop required toolsdashboardsetc. for that.
Define & formulate the financial aspects of companys future strategic directions
Support in the annual budget process periodic forecasting and actual vs budget monthly analysis.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-term planning introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory actions.
Develop and lead an annual budget for all units
Daily communication and collaboration with the management team and the board of directors including report financial results Develop and manage a Financial Risk Management program
Be a Finance Partner with various departments and business units in the company providing financial models support strategic and operational planning.

Job requirements:

2 days in office in Newton.
5 years experience as CFO or VP of Finance in SaaS companies
Global experience
Experience being board/investor facing in a growth stage/Startup companies
Strong financial modeling skills and experience in financial strategy
Proven experience in analyze and review financial reports and provide analysis regarding budget issues and develop financial models supporting the companys overall goals.
Proven experience in building budgets financial models KPIs analysis in both revenue and cost.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills high level of integrity and dependability
