What you will be doing in this role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deputy Medical Workforce Manager to provide essential support to the Medical Workforce Manager and Director of Emergency Care in the management and coordination of our medical workforce. This is a key role in ensuring the effective rostering recruitment and retention doctors as well as coordinating workforce accreditation payroll and operational needs in alignment with strategic objectives and quality standards.
This role will have a particular focus on managing the Emergency Department portfolio encompassing recruitment rostering payroll leave management accreditation and trainee rotations. You will be responsible for building managing and adapting rosters to ensure efficient staffing closely monitoring vacant shifts and escalating issues in a timely manner to maintain optimal staffing levels at all times. Additionally you will ensure that all employed staff are paid accurately and on schedule.
