The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is hiring for a Motor Carrier Operations Supervisor for a position with its Motor Carrier administration in Richmond VA.
The Motor Carrier Operations Supervisor serves as a team leader while actively preparing for future management responsibilities. This role includes overseeing team performance participating in strategic planning and assisting with daily operations to ensure continuity in the managers absence. The Supervisor balances direct program responsibilities with leadership duties fostering team development and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of DMV systems and motor carrier programs.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage team performance.
Experience in customer service or administrative support.
Supervisory experience or leadership training in a team-based environment.
Additional Considerations
Knowledge of federal and state regulations for motor carriers.
Experience in DMV operations or motor carrier programs with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
