Teaching Assistant: Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 8:45am 12:15pm Thursday 8:45am 3:30pm.
MDSA: 5 hours per week 38 weeks per year (term time only) Monday -Friday 12:15pm 1:15pm.
We are seeking to expand our team so are recruiting an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the learning of our pupils. You will complement the professional work of the teachers by taking responsibility for supporting and adjusting learning activities working with individuals and groups of children under the supervision of the class teacher.
You will be engaging and motivated with:
experience of working with primary aged pupils in a mainstream school setting
the ability to use your own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils
the ability to inspire and motivate children to ensure that they achieve their full potential
experience in supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
excellent communication and IT skills; English and Mathematics of grade A* - C/ 9- 4 or equivalent and some knowledge of the curriculum requirements for primary schools
high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour and able to relate to pupils in a pleasant and sympathetic manner
flexibility and commitment to working as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher and SLT
Emotional and physical resilience the ability to stay calm in challenging situations patience and a good sense of humour.
