Are you ready to shape the future of autonomous mobility In this exciting role youll take on a key position in validating and integrating innovative passenger management and data recording functions for an SAE Level 4 robotaxi system.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
You will play a central role in validating and integrating passenger management and data recording functions in a cutting-edge SAE Level 4 robotaxi system.
You are responsible for developing and operating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test environments to validate control units related to user interaction cabin systems and system monitoring.
You design implement and automate test cases for features such as user authentication seat detection cabin surveillance remote assistance HMI interactions and event-based data recording.
You work closely with function developers to translate system-level requirements into test strategies and test specifications.
You lead test automation efforts at an expert level using ECU-TEST creating modular and scalable test scripts with robust error handling reusability and traceability.
You integrate and configure hardware components (e.g. gateways ECUs sensors) and simulate vehicle and passenger-related inputs to cover both standard and edge-case scenarios.
You ensure full traceability between test cases requirements and test results supporting compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards.
You actively contribute to failure analysis debugging and root cause investigation collaborating cross-functionally with software systems and vehicle integration teams.
You maintain and further develop the HiL infrastructure continuously improving test coverage and efficiency for the ever-expanding range of autonomous vehicle functions.
WHAT YOU BRING
You have a completed degree in automotive engineering electrical engineering mechatronics computer science or a comparable discipline.
You bring solid experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing especially in the context of user-centric vehicle functions and in-vehicle data systems.
You possess expert-level knowledge of ECU-TEST including architecture test automation reporting and debugging workflows.
You have experience testing ADAS or autonomous driving functions ideally in SAE L4 or L3 projects.
You hold at least an ISTQB Advanced Level certification.
You are familiar with passenger interaction systems cabin monitoring and data logging architectures used in connected and autonomous vehicles.
You know the current standards such as automotive communication protocols (CAN LIN Ethernet) and have experience with tools like CANoe CAPL and SATlite (VW Tool).
You are proficient in using version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitHub.
You demonstrate strong analytical thinking a systematic approach to test design and great attention to detail.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written); German skills are a plus.
