You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHalifax Water is currently seeking one (1) Term Full-Time Pumping Sation Service Person Apprentice in the Operations Department. The position requires the operation and maintenance of sewage pumping stations. Operation of equipment and tools in difficult conditions in wastewater environment inside and out is essential. The incumbent will be subject to confined spaces noise vibrations odors heat cold rain snow ice and emergency call-outs after normal working hours.

Education:
Grade 12 required.
Completion of a minimum one year program of technical training in a mechanical discipline.
Apprentice Requirements Experience:
A minimum of one year experience working with pumps/motors/process controls.
