Job Highlights:

Starting Pay: from $43888/year

Qualified candidates must have:

  • At least three years of supervised experience working with I/DD population.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

This Opportunity:

Onsite management for the day to day activities of an assigned location including management of scheduling staff and support service needs that enhance the quality of meaningful day activities and enable individuals to achieve their personal dreams and goals.

What Youll Do:

Identify methods whereby services can be provided utilizing existing community resources wherever possible. Ensure that staff utilizes person-centered approaches and positive approach strategies when supporting individuals receiving services.
Work in a cooperative effort with involved professionals to ensure that program plans are implemented and documented properly and updated in a timely fashion.
Support and assist individuals in coordinating support services including initialing referrals scheduling and attending appointments. Attending meetings properly completing required paperwork reviewing documentation and report concerns etc.
Assist in administrative duties such as reviewing time sheets to ensure accuracy and submitting for payroll necessary payables and other administrative duties as assigned.
Ensure through regular audits that accurate documentation and procedures are followed in the handling of credit cards and purchases. Will have financial responsibility for the program oversight including service revenue expenses and sales as appropriate.
Provide leadership direction and supervision to assigned personnel including floaters and substitute staff. Monitor performance and implementation of assigned responsibilities by being present when day-to-day activities routines and rhythms are taking place on all shifts and by unannounced visits. Complete performance evaluations coaching and counseling and discipline as needed and/or required.
Develop system of communication for staff and participants including regular staff meetings to facilitate dissemination of accurate and up-to-date information concerning team work and ensure individual needs are met. Ensure system provides a means for communication across divisions and between consultants professionals outside agencies families and management staff.
Provide systems to develop coordinate and monitor staff and participant schedules within the program and in the community that meets individual program plans. Ensures that appropriate activities are occurring throughout the day.
Assist people receiving services with knowledge of emergency procedures and personal safety. Utilize effective judgment when dealing with safety issues including but not limited to fire safety by conducting drills inspecting equipment and practicing safety procedures in the community.
Assist new staff and/or current staff with orientation mentoring and training. Ensure staff are appropriately trained regarding plans and related programs and demonstrate an understanding of specific plan components. Support and monitor that all staff obtain and maintain agency wide training expectations.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required.
Maintain certification in all agency state and federal training requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
Will follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
Completes all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Driving and Travel may be required.
