Job Summary
Savantage Solutions is hiring a Senior Financial and Analytics Analyst to provide critical support across resource planning cost analysis and program execution. This position plays a key role in program management cost estimating and financial operations with opportunities to contribute to high-level government financial initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing Agency budgetary resources including assistance in establishing budget controls and budget loads into the Agencys financial system.
- Provide assistance to budget analysts in preparation of spending plans and use of the Agencys.
- automated spend plan management tool.
- Use established systems and databases to research and analyze unliquidated obligations.
- Assist with procurement close-out reconciliations including assisting program offices.
- Provide customer support for assigned programs.
- Provide support for training analysts on the use of financial tools that provide execution and program analysis along with other comptroller-required functions.
- Provide Help Desk support at a Tier I level for issues related to the Spend Plan Tool.
- Assist in the development of enhancements initiatives and other financial tools for spending plans and
- execution.
- Document development efforts and produce guides job aids and other information to support the Agencys automated spend plan management system and other financial tools (to include but not limited to DAI Joint Integrated CBRN Analytic Platform (JICAP) and Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DAR-Q).
- Support the Comptrollers Integrated Process Team for business systems and develop effective means to capture and prioritize requirements develop costs and document efforts.
- Assist with Financial Defense Travel Administrator (FDTA) functions in support of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Provide support to Financial Managers by conducting research and analysis on budget and financial management-related policies and issues.
Knowledge Skill and Abilities:
Candidate must have:
- A TS/SCI clearance
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Experience in Budget Formulation Integration and Reporting (Execution & Budget)
- Strong Excel skills required with the aptitude and desire to become an advance user
- Ability to manage sort and analyze large data sets via Excel pivot tables.
- Strong Aptitude to use Excel formulas to solve basic and complex analytical problem sets.
- Ability to compare and link datasets between spreadsheets.
- Ability to isolate locate and reformat information in large datasets via the Excel formulas
- and macros
- DoD experience desired
Education and Certification:
- Bachelors Degree or Specialized Experience
Compensation
$140000k - $170000k (based on the National Capital Region)
The pay range for this job level at Savantage Solutions serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Factors considered when extending an offer include but are not limited to job 1responsibilities education experience knowledge skills certifications seniority performance and alignment with market data.
This salary range is based on the National Capital Region and reflects our good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic region or market conditions and we may ultimately pay more or less than the stated range.

No Personal Phones allowed on site
Will work onsite 5 days a week and no remote work option
