Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
IFRS17 Reporting: Responsible to support the regular IFRS17 production on analysis explanation and communication of the results. Assist in the regular audit review.
Process improvement: Identify and implement the actuarial processes improvements and controls for enhancing the overall reporting processes efficiency.
Cross function support: Coordinate with internal parties and provide support for different initiatives e.g. ensure that any updates on actuarial model are set-up are implemented properly for production perform appropriate levels of checking and investigation as required etc.
Team management: Supervise junior members within the team and provide ongoing coaching on technical knowledges and soft skills to ensure the quality of work.
Job Specification:
1) University students major in Actuarial Science or equivalent
2) Relevant working experience is required. Minimum 5 years of actuarial working experience.
3) Good progress in Actuarial Examinations.
4) Decent business and financial acumen solid knowledge in IFRS17 insurance accounting and regulatory requirements.
5) Strong technical analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
6) Good command of written and spoken English
7) Proficiency in Microsoft office knowledge of Prophet and stochastic modelling is an advantage.
8) Able to work a fast-paced business environment and perform multiple tasks when needed.
