Job Summary
Findlay is one of the largest & fastest growing automotive groups in the Southwest U.S. Were seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Business Manager. Ability to multi-task work in a fast paced environment and provide leadership to a team of office personnel is necessary.
This recruitment is for an Automotive Business Manager to lead our accounting team for a dealership in Las Vegas. Our ideal candidate is well versed in all facets of accounting cost control margin expansion and financial controls. Previously Dealership Business Manager preferred.
You will assist the dealership in meeting & exceeding the finance and accounting administrative and Human Resource goals. You will build strong relationships with our General Manager Service Manager and Finance team to provide on-going support and expertise to hit their goals. The position requires attention to detail and accuracy. This position requires someone who is prepared to think analytically.
You will report directly into our General Manager and Controller. This position oversees a team of office personnel; hiring training and supervising of these key positions.

The Role:
- Meets regularly with the management staff to ensure the free flow of information and a close coordination of effort.
- Create & prepare consistent reporting on business operations to management as requested
- Prepares a complete and accurate financial statement monthly according to Auto Group directives.
- Maintains all reporting needs related to manufacturer financial statements budgeting accounting requirements.
- Ensures warranty claims rebates interest parts statement and co-op advertising are current and accurate.
- Ensures the proper accountability and control of the companys petty cash account daily bank deposits and physical inventories.
- Oversees AP system & receivable accounts procedures
- Ensures payroll & benefits plan contributions are completed timely and accurately.
- Ensures accurate reporting and timely remittance of all sales payroll real estate tax personal property taxes and any other county state and federal taxes.
- Ensures hiring and termination paperwork is completed correctly.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Dealership Business Manager (past Controllerrolewill be considered) is preferred.
- Proficient in CDK is preferred.
- Pass criminal background check/ drug screening.
