Under close supervision and at a beginning level of engineering work performs basic and routine assignments requiring the application of standard techniques procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks and activities.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Receive project assignment and obtain a full understanding of the nature and scope of the project as well as budget and schedule parameters.
• Assist in determining the technical design criteria for the project.
• Research and compile appropriate background information for the project including past designs materials specifications and governing code requirements.
• Perform necessary design calculations for the project.
• Prepare schematic designs for the project based on rough sketches and notes provided by others.
• Assist in determining materials quantities and specifications for the project.
• Coordinate with other disciplines involved in the project as necessary.
• Attend progress briefings and coordination checks to discuss the engineering effort and project status.
• Document all design criteria calculations performed and decisions made.
• Update vendor and design files periodically.
• Assist in preparing studies and reports when called upon.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors in Engineering
• Must have strong technical background in appropriate engineering field
• Interest and ability to pursue engineering and development projects.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Some applied engineering experience preferred.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $70000 - $74000annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
