As Programme Delivery Officer you will report to the Programme Delivery Manager based within the Programme Management & Quality Assurance department. You will be responsible for the delivery of allocated projects events outreach and activities and training including Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and National Open College Network (NOCN) accredited courses.

Key Responsibilities of this role
Programme Scheduling Event Delivery Aftercare & Development
Dealing with enquiries and coordinating with wider Programme & Quality Assurance Team (P&QA) TET and Cultural Assets stakeholders to schedule activity.
Supporting marketing & promotion monitoring ticket sales collaborating with other departments (Content Marketing Digital) to ensure successful and relevant uptake.
Delivering all allocated training events outreach & activities including online/hybrid delivery to the varying requirements of delivery owners.
Providing learner/participant support and guidance.
Providing guidance for wider P&QA Team on set up/breaking down and overseeing and feeding into catering requirements.
Providing outreach facilitation if required.
Coordinating volunteer input in collaboration with Volunteer Coordinator.
Providing aftercare to learners & partners and evaluating to continually improve.
Collating learnings to inform future evolution of programme including budget allocation.
Identifying new opportunities for programme development.
Audio Visual Tech Support
Working in collaboration with Digital Documentation & Innovation and the Facilities & Operations Manager to ensure all digital requirements for delivery are fit for purpose.
Providing guidance for speakers on technical specifications for delivery.
Providing technical checks and opportunities for familiarisation visits.
Seeking opportunities to enhance hybrid delivery offer.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Engagement
Liaising with HES subject matter experts and key partners to explore opportunities.
Liaising with speakers to plan understand requirements and inform on technical specifications.
Liaising with delivery partners including educational institutes and awarding bodies for our courses that offer a formal qualification and ensuring adherence with awarding bodies quality assurance requirements for these courses.
Collaborating with partners and venues to secure locations for site visits.
Adhering to and supporting the review and updating of policy and process documentsincluding risk assessments.
Maintaining systems and management tools (Word Excel Power BI Eventbrite backend website) to ensure the smooth running of scheduling and reporting data.
Reporting
Contributing to Team Department and wider Directorate reporting as well as specific evaluation summaries and follow up case studies.

Essential:
Experience of delivering events outreach or training courses.
Experience of delivery of hybrid events/training.
A highly organised approach to planning workload acute attention to detail and delivering numerous projects simultaneously to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Proven relationship management ability to create and maintain excellent working relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative but also operate exceptionally as a member of the wider team.
Excellent written and verbal communication problem solving and ability to elicit and respond to needs.
Excellent creative and critical thinking skills.
An excellent approach to customer service always maintaining professionalism.
Driving licence/ability to travel to various locations across Scotland including remote sites.
