Job Summary

Frank Miller Lumber Company Inc. a global hardwood manufacturer in Union City IN is seeking a Fine Woods Retail Shop Assistant.

We are looking for an individual who is primarily responsible for assisting the Fine Woods Manager in all aspects of our retail store. Employee will be stocking inventory and preparing lumber for sale as well as outgoing truck orders. The employee would be assisting customers with orders and questions they may have regarding lumber.

Planing jointing crosscutting and ripping material for customers.
Replenish bin lumber from bulk inventory.
Assist customers in finding/selecting lumber and fill orders as purchases are made.
Ability to calculate board footage writing and math skills.
Answering the telephone and assisting customers.
Obtain and maintain a Frank Miller Lumber forklift certification through the Company.
Loading trucks with forklift tarping and strapping down.
Making occasional deliveries in a non-CDL truck.
Able to hand-unload truck when necessary.
Portraying a professional and friendly image of Frank Miller Lumber when delivering.
Employees must have a good driving record.
