Job Summary
AUTO BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR HIRING NOW
$55000 $95000 Annually Based on Experience & Performance
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator to join a busy high-volume collision repair facility. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands insurance estimating repair processes and customer communication.
The Estimator plays a critical role in customer satisfaction repair accuracy and shop profitability.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates for collision damage

Write estimates using industry-standard estimating software (CCC Mitchell Audatex or similar)
-
Work directly with customers insurance adjusters and internal repair teams
-
Explain repair processes timelines and costs clearly to customers
-
Supplement estimates as needed based on tear-down findings
-
Ensure estimates meet insurance guidelines and shop standards
-
Maintain accurate documentation and repair records
-
Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow
-
Deliver high-level customer service throughout the repair process
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Previous experience as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Estimator
-
Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and materials
-
Experience working with insurance companies and claims processes
-
Proficiency with estimating software (CCC Mitchell Audatex preferred)
-
Excellent communication organization and customer service skills
-
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-
Valid drivers license
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Estimated annual income range: $55000 $95000 depending on experience shop volume and pay structure
