Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving storing processing and dispatching cargo so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.

Summary:


The Office General reports directly to the Office Supervisor and is responsible for providing front office support and build customer confidence by responding to needs efficiently and timeously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all bookings are captured accurately on a daily basis in relevant systems.
  • Ensure all management queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • HSSE support.
  • Scanning of source documents.
  • Maintain registers and logs.
  • Verifies the accuracy of inbound and outbound documentation.
  • Supports Office Supervisor and is tasked with data entry equipment reconciliation reporting customer communication and equipment management as needed.
  • Maintains a positive relationship while working closely with the staff to build a strong team through coaching goal setting and constructive feedback.
  • General office procurement finance and administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent College Degree preferred
  • Strong administrative skills including those in MS Office (Word Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to effective interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment and handle confidential company information
  • Able to demonstrate cost-consciousness in all areas of work.
  • Self-starter attitude and are able to work independently performing well with time-sensitive tasks
  • Organized with high attention to details
  • Team player attitude

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm and some weekend flexibility

Pay Range:

  • $21.00 - $23.00*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
