What You Will Do:
- Accounts Payable Support
- Process invoices through the companys accounting system (P2P/DSSI).
- Match invoices to purchase orders and obtain proper approvals.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and assist with vendor setup and maintenance.
- Administrative Support
- Answers Corporate phone line(s) and promptly and accurately deliver messages.
- Expense Reporting & Credit Card Management
- Review and verify Concur expense reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist employees with expense submissions receipt documentation and policy compliance.
- Month-End Close & Reconciliations
- Support accountants in preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in gathering supporting documentation for month-end and audit purposes.
- Recordkeeping & Administrative Support
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper).
- Respond to inquiries from vendors community staff and internal departments.
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounting team.
Why You Are Qualified:
- Associates degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Bachelors preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook); experience with Yardi Voyager Concur or similar systems a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors team members and community staff.
