Were growing our Engineering team and looking for talented Engineers to work in our U.S. Manufacturing Plants.
At Schreiber Foods we deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer our Naturals category we specialize in transforming externally sourced cheese blocks into consumer-ready formatsshredded bagged or resized blocks. This role is all about making that process smarter faster and more efficient.
As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer youll be the driving force behind waste elimination and capacity creation. Youll work hands-on with our existing equipment and cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks reduce scrap and unlock hidden throughput. This position is located at our Fairview manufacturing plant in Carthage Missouri.

What youll do:
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste improve yield and optimize line performance.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with operations maintenance and packaging teams to implement improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and root cause analysis tools.
- Own KPIs such as throughput scrap rate changeover time and OEE.
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades to expand capacity.
- Champion safety food quality and compliance throughout all engineering activities.
- Occasionally travel (up to 10%) to support cross-plant initiatives or training.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Industrial or related field).
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in waste reduction and capacity optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with high-speed packaging or food processing equipment preferred.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
