Job Summary

About the Role

We are partnering with a dynamic investment company seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This role will play a key part in financial modeling budgeting forecasting and strategic analysis to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience in financial services technology or investment environments and is comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving business. Experience with M&A strategic planning or early-stage/startup operations is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build maintain and refine financial models to forecast performance and evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Lead budgeting and long-range planning processes in partnership with business unit leaders.
  • Conduct variance analysis performance reporting and identify key trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly board & leadership reporting including KPI dashboards and narrative analysis.
  • Support M&A activities including financial due diligence data analysis valuation modeling and integration planning (if applicable).
  • Evaluate business cases for new product lines capital investments and headcount planning.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate month-end close and proper cost allocation.
  • Partner with Operations Product and Executive Leadership on financial insights and strategic planning.
  • Improve financial data infrastructure and contribute to process automation & systems enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business or related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
  • 57 years experience in financial services tech investment banking private equity corporate FP&A or consulting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel / Google Sheets (advanced functions required).
  • Experience with business intelligence / reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) preferred.
  • Comfortable analyzing large data sets and presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience in high-growth or evolving environments preferred.
  • M&A fundraising valuation or early-stage exposure is a plus.
