We are seeking an enthusiastic caring and creative teacher to join our successful and friendly primary school just outside Lewes.

This role can be full-time or part-time (3 days per week) with a start date either immediately or from January 2026. Its a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where you can make a real difference.

We warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and will provide a comprehensive induction mentoring and ongoing professional development to support your success

The successful candidate will:

Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and understand the role of assessment in

securing progress.

Have experience working within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (although this is not essential for ECTs).

Be passionate about providing high-quality learning opportunities.

Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.

Show a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.

Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.

Build positive relationships with pupils colleagues and parents.

Support and contribute to the ethos of our school
