Job Summary

Catherine McAuley Westmead is looking for a temporary Japanese Tutor/Teachers Aide to provide support and assistance to our teachers working 3 hours once a week to commence as soon as possible.

Teachers Aides are accountable for:.

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team

-Demonstrated ability to follow direction prioritise and meet set deadlines

-Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel

-Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work

-Work with individual and small groups of students on developing their French oral and aural skills

Typical Experience and Qualifications:

Native Japanese speaker (essential)
Appropriate demonstrated experience
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

The Organisation

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPDS Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
