Your role and responsibilities

Join us as a Caseworker and immerse yourself in a role that combines diverse responsibilities with opportunities for growth. Sharpen your research and drafting skills while serving as a crucial liaison between professionals and stakeholders. Your ability to convey complex information clearly and manage multiple cases with competing priorities will be key. As you assist in delivering high-quality legal services and provide expert advice youll continuously expand your legal knowledge and expertise. If youre ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real difference this role is for you.

You willneed

  • an honours degree and relevant work experience in a legal setting
  • enthusiasm for solving legal problems and a practical strategic approach to advice
  • willingness and aptitude for learning
  • research analysis and communication skills
  • ability to manage and process high volumes of documentation and information to drive clear advice and effective case management
  • to be able to organise your time and resources and prioritise effectively
  • an awareness of the political reputational and financial factors bearing on the councils decision-making
  • to bring your own values experience and insights to enhance the team and help develop the department as a whole.
