The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Training Coordinator focused on logistics scheduling and metrics for Fulfillment Operations training programs supporting theand 787 Supply Chain Fulfillment teams.
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling resource allocation classroom and shop floor logistics training materials distribution and maintenance of training metrics and reports. This role ensures seamless execution of onboarding skills and compliance training as well as refresher training through close partnership with Trainers Instructional Designers and Operations leadership team. This position will be located in Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end training logistics: schedule classes reserve training spaces coordinate hands on lab setups and manage equipment and PPE needs.
Coordinate trainer assignments SME availability and train-the-trainer sessions to ensure coverage and consistency.
Manage course registration confirmations waitlists cancellations and learner communications (pre-work prerequisites reminders).
Prepare and distribute training materials job aids assessment packets and compliance documentation to learners and instructors.
Maintain and update training calendars and delivery schedules aligned to production needs and workforce forecasts.
Administer and maintain training records certification logs and attendance rosters in LMS ensuring data integrity.
Develop maintain and distribute training metrics and dashboards (e.g. attendance pass rates time to competency certification expirations remediation status).
Produce regular reports for Operations Learning & Development and leadershiphighlighting risks capacity constraints compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Serve as primary logistics point of contact during pilot rollouts and large scale deployments; coordinate site readiness and issue escalation.
Coordinate travel per diem and site access requirements for travelling trainers and SMEs where applicable.
Manage inventory of training consumables and AV supplies; request procurement or escalate as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling reduce no shows and improve training throughput.
Ensure adherence to Boeing safety security and site policies during all training events.
Accurate up-to-date training schedule and calendar published weekly/monthly.
Complete course registration and attendance records for all sessions.
Logistics readiness checklists and site setup confirmations for each scheduled hands-on session.
Inventory management for training supplies and equipment.
Incident and escalation logs related to training events (safety compliance logistics failures).
Post pilot readiness summary reports with recommendations.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2 years coordinating training events or operations logistics in a manufacturing warehouse or industrial environment.
Experience maintaining training or HR records and generating metrics/reports.
Proficiency with enterprise LMS MS Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP basic formulas) Word PowerPoint and calendar/scheduling tools.
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service orientation with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Ability to work on the production floor and comply with PPE and Boeing safety/security procedures.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate degree or higher
Experience in aerospace manufacturing supply chain or fulfillment operations.
Familiarity with training metrics frameworks (Kirkpatrick competency tracking) and dashboard tools (Power BI Tableau or similar).
Experience with scheduling systems resource management or project coordination tools (MS Project Smartsheet or equivalent).
Experience handling logistics for hands-on training (MHE tool rooms lab setups) and compliance training.
Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement exposure.
Work will primarily occur on 1st shift while also supporting 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.
