Job Summary
Title: Simulation Engineer CFD
Educational Qualifications: PhD / Master mechanical engineering
Experience: 6 to 12years
Location: Bengaluru IPEC India
Job Description Summary:
In a global team you run various kinds of CFD simulations. Target is to optimize the aero designs of our broad product portfolio. You have profound knowledge in Aerodynamics Heat Transfer and Multiphysics. You are embedded in the Product Development Team and collaborate closely with other departments such as Design and daily work you use commercial and internal numerical tools which require continuous further development.
Key Responsibility:
CFD simulation and assessment of automotive turbochargers with focus on performance and thermal management
Generation of compressor & turbine maps
Development and improvement of 1D and 3D simulation processes and methods
Collaboration with other locations and departments
Simulation-project ownership from planning over execution to reporting
Work Experience/Skills:
PhD / Master mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
At least 3 years experience in automotive or industrial field with focus on turbomachinery
Deep understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Extensive experience with Ansys CFX / Fluent and related pre and post Ansys tools
Professional skills in tool design with Python C object-oriented programming SQL database programming and interfaces Git / BitBucket version control debugging & Software testing experience on software release
Strong analytical skills and conscientious structured way of working
Excellent English communication skills
