Your role as Backoffice Employee (Sourcing)

As a Backoffice Employee (Sourcing) you will play a vital role in supporting our sourcing team with administrative and coordination tasks. Acting as the key link between buyers suppliers and internal departments you make sure that products and shipments arrive on time and with the correct documentation. This role combines administrative accuracy supplier communication and process coordination offering you the opportunity to develop your career in an international FMCG environment. Key responsibilities:

  • Create process and maintain purchase orders and supplier contracts in the ERP system.
  • Monitor container arrivals update schedules and register additional purchases.
  • Collect verify and archive export and customs documents from suppliers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Customs Quality Control Warehouse and Transport.
  • Ensure accurate reporting on product quality and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep daily operations smooth and efficient.

What you bring

  • Completed vocational education (MBO level) in Logistics Commerce or a related field.
  • Practical experience in an administrative role with good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Excel Outlook Word).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English both written and spoken (German or other languages are an advantage).
  • Accurate proactive and able to work independently.
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to occasionally support weekend duties.
  • As our location is in Waddinxveen it is important that you are eligible to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship and that you have your own means of transport.
