Responsibilities

Sysmex Reagents America Mundelein IL seeks a Senior Analyst Plant Operations SRA

Job duties:

Responsible for ensuring optimal processes are being executed in the production facility by collecting and analyzing operational and financial data and supporting the development and execution of actionable solutions. This role will partner with plant leadership to ensure plant objectives are being measured and achieved.

Responsible for determining manufacturing standard cost monitoring actual costs and managing the planning and forecast process.

The role will carry out the following duties:

  • partner with the plant and business leadership to achieve the strategic vision for manufacturing operations;
  • perform monthly actual cost calculation of finished products raw materials and semi-finished good materials in compliance with month end processes;
  • ensure the accuracy of the standard costs including bill of material and item costs routings labor rates as well as overhead allocation;
  • responsible for the annual plan and forecast process for the production operation;
  • work with production and other departments on tracking cost saving process improvement and provide other financial advice and support. Perform monthly cost center analysis including variance explanations (budget actual and forecast);
  • analyze key performance indicators including revenue cost of sales operating expenses (includes developing financial models and decision-making tools);
  • responsible for timely and accurate completion of project spend analysis.
  • Work closely with local management team to ensure completion of projects within planned timeline and within budget;
  • prepare reports and presentations focusing on plant operations and financial position;
  • support business case development for new investments and product manufacturing.

The role is 80% on site and 20% remote.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related and 5 years of experience in job offered Plant Accounting Cost Accounting or related accounting role in a manufacturing setting.

Must have experience with:

(1) ERP and Oracle/Hyperion;

(2) SAP Oracle/Hyperion BI tools;

(3) Creating management reports;

(4) High level of proficiency in spreadsheets;

(5) Budget/forecast experience;

(6) Ability to analyze troubleshoot problems to identify recommend and implement solutions.

The salary range for this role is $100547.00 - $121000.00 per year.
