Project Manager Land Management

We are seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in overseeing complex projects including those within the Land Management domain. The position islocated in San Antonio or South Texas- up to 25% travel onsite in South Texas. This role involves managing a 3-year project in collaboration with our South Texas client.. The successful candidate must excel at stakeholder engagement effective communication across all levels meeting facilitation documentation and action item tracking.

This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact project requiring you to utilize advanced project management methodologies risk assessment techniques and schedule management tools while participating in Agile processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle to deliver on-time within scope and within budget.
  • Develop and manage Project Management Plans (PMPs) ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and other interested parties.
  • Communicate project progress risks and mitigation plans via detailed status updates and reporting.
• Meeting Facilitation:
  • Run effective project meetings document discussions and track action items to ensure accountability.
  • Maintain a focus on achieving project milestones and adjusting priorities when necessary.
• Risk & Schedule Management:
  • Identify and assess risks creating risk mitigation plans to address project uncertainties.
  • Manage project schedules ensuring accurate tracking of timelines and deliverables.
• Agile Practices:
  • Participate in Agile processes including backlog tracking sprint management and iterative project updates.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 5-8 years of project management experience in large complex projects.
  • Proven history of delivering successful outcomes for multi-year projects.
• Certification:
  • Valid PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
• Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Project Management Plans Risk Management and Schedule Management.
  • Excellent communication skills adept at managing client stakeholders facilitating meetings documenting discussions and tracking actionable items.
• Agile Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain Knowledge:
  • Prior experience in the Land Management domain including zoning asset utilization and compliance.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Experience with Salesforce or workflow implementation is highly desirable.

Travel Requirement:

This role requires 25% travel within South Texas to collaborate with clients and oversee project activities in person
