Through our Capital Markets Summer Analyst programme you will get direct work experience and exposure to the Global Markets business at CIBC. CIBC offers a broad suite of capital markets trading products and services to corporate government and institutional clients around the world.
As a Global Markets Summer Analyst you will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in an orientation session to learn more about the bank and our Capital Markets business here in the region.
- Gain exposure to a specific asset class by working alongside experienced sales and trading professionals
- Assist in idea generation financial markets analysis and risk monitoring
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
Key Requirements:
- Student in a finance/quantitative discipline with strong academic results.
- You are a penultimate or final year (including Masters) student and on track to achieve a minimum of 2.1 honours degree or equivalent
- Strong analytical problem-solving and numerical skills
- A team player who can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
- Fluent in English and the right to work in the UK
